Pioneering transport solutions for horse and rider

In collaboration with A+T Nutzfahrzeuge and Renault Trucks, we have developed the first concept vehicle for the all-electric transport of horses.

Offering pioneering transport solutions for horses and riders is a key challenge that we are constantly facing. Now that e-mobility has already made inroads into many fields, we are also working intensively with our partners to offer a leading solution for horse transport.

The first "Compact E" vehicle is still a concept vehicle and paves the way for further developments and optimisations for all-electric horse transport.

The demands placed on transport vehicles in the horse sector are high. The vehicles must be reliable and convincing in terms of safety and performance. The Compact was designed in the stable version and offers the usual comfort for horse and rider. The horse compartment is equipped with a high, variable partition wall, a 3-door system and a passageway to the saddle compartment. The side padding on the aluminium partition wall and side wall provides the necessary safety. The 3-door system allows flexible utilisation of the horse compartment.

The vehicle has a range of 120 kilometres when transporting one horse. This means that routes and journeys such as to regular training, regional competitions and events or to the vet can already be undertaken.

The first step has been taken and will be built upon. New vehicle generations from Renault Trucks promise more range with a larger payload.
