 PORTAX – the slightly different horse trailer for 2 horses!
With its 2100 mm high aluminium-anodised sidewalls the new horse trailer Portax is not at all a typical Böckmann aluminium trailer. Big sliding side windows are out of the ordinary – but useful. The front unloading ramp is wide and extra long for an easy unloading of your horses.
A rigid rear frame and two peripheral steel bows are very robust and at little bit special. Each exterior side is fitted with a long tie bar. The CFFplus chassis is a further standard feature.
The huge front provides enough place for an optimal saddle tack and a panoramic window. The lockable access door is tall as a man and due to the lowered CFFplus chassis the loading height is perfect. The special double swivelling divider wall with flexible transparent PVC curtain is very horse-friendly. An automatic roll-up curtain or net roller blind care for an optimal ventilation and closes the section above the rear ramp. As usual, the height-adjustable stall bar security system is a standard feature for this Böckmann trailer, as well as the rubber covering with integrated safety treads, side stop and drain channel on the rear ramp.
The lockable trailer coupling with crash protection is a further standard Böckmann feature which cannot be ignored anymore.
There are several optional extras, for example the rear 2-wing-door instead of a loading ramp or a second big access door instead of an unloading ramp in the front. The inner width of 175 cm as well as the inner height of 230 cm are really comfortable for the horses.
