Inch by inch more travelling comfort.
At first glance it appears to be a trifle: since 2003, our trailer chassis have been lowered. To be quite precise: nearly all product lines have been lowered by 4 inches. In daily road use, this “trifle” quickly becomes an innovation in trailer design – for three reasons…
Firstly: considerable greater travelling comfort.
CFFplus is the exact designation for the further development of Böckmann’s proven “Comfort suspension”. By lowering the chassis, the centres of gravity for the trailers have also been lowered considerably. This results in improved road holding characteristics, outstanding handling and extremely positive driving performance. At the same time, suspension comfort was improved once again compared to the previous models.
Secondly: easier loading.
Your horse also benefits from the lowered chassis. On the one hand of course from the outstanding travelling comfort. And on the other hand, already before setting off, thanks to flatter access into the trailer. This makes it much easier for you to load the horse before every single journey. By the way, when combined with doors, you can load/unload without having to use the rear ramp.
Thirdly: increased safety.
Safe loading even at night: the lighting units fitted to the side with integrated rear reflector triangle guarantees that the trailer lighting is not concealed even when the rear ramp is down. In addition, all horse trailers with the new CFFplus chassis are fitted with a reversing light and a 13-pin connector.
