Equitana – a complete success and a lot of new developments made by Böckmann
On more than 900 m² Böckmann were presenting their extensive trailer and truck program 2007. Apart from the well-known horse trailer range for one to two horses in Plywood-, aluminium – and polyester quality some new developments had also been presented.
For the first time the new Traveller range had been published: Traveller – the trailers with diagonal positioning of the horses, respectively western horses or ponies. Three basic models are offered: Traveller G for standard horses, Traveller W for western horses and Traveller K for small horses/ponies. Depending on size and weight three to five horses can be transported with these models. As the Traveller is having a total weight of 3,5 tons, the drawing vehicle should be a 4x4 car or truck.
In the full polyester trailer range the Comfort S is replacing the previous starter model Classic. More use, more space, more comfort – at a reasonable price!
With the Master S the master class offers a well-priced starter model in the upper class section of the polyester trailers.
The top of the range, the Mega Master, is now available with a new developed saddle tack conception: step-in facility with seating accommodation, space for a mobile saddle box or a foldable bicycle, water tank system, wardrobe etc. At the Equitana fair this conception had been presented for the first time. The new WCF chassis is standard for this model.
Portax, the slightly different horse trailer for 2 horses: Optic, construction and function are absolutely untypical for Böckmann. 2100 mm high aluminium anodised sidewalls with a flat-shaped polyester roof and 2 peripheral steel bows are giving its typical optic. Extremely big access door, practical front unload, new sliding side windows, a roof air vent and the lowered CFFplus chassis are standard features. Lots of more details and optional extras are optimising this new aluminium trailer for 2 horses.
Alternatively to the CFF chassis, the WCF coil spring chassis with individually mounted triangular stabilisers and wheel shock absorbers – well-known from the full polyester model XL – will now be available for almost all Böckmann horse trailer models. Thus, the Böckmann customer will be able to combine his ideal horse trailer body with the personally ideal suspension system.
All horse trailers are immediately fitted with the new single plastic mudguards.
Detail modifications: New optimised side cushions will replace the previous version. The access and saddle tack doors have been modified to a three-point-fastening system, i.e. they are much easier to handle and they will shut in a safer way. New decorations are available in big size.
The truck program was represented by three models - from the horse transporter with 3,5 tons total weight for two horses up to the 18-tons-profiliner.
